Radionuclides
Frequently used for the diagnosis of ischemic heart disease and other cardiac conditions. A commonly employed substitute for 99mTc. 201Tl was previously the primary agent in nuclear cardiology and continues to be used for stress tests to identify high-risk patient groups with ischemic heart disease.
